The UCSD Department of Reproductive Medicine Reunion Reception on 5/7/07 for current and past UCSD residents/fellows/faculty was well attended and enjoyed by all. Dr. Robert Resnik, acting for the department, presented Dr. Mitch Besser (Residency graduate, 1986) with a plaque honoring his humanitarian efforts and achievements. Dr. Besser also received the ACOG Distinguished Service Award at the ACOG annual meeting for his work with HIV-infected pregnant women in Africa.
